Educational Advocacy

Resolve WNY offers educational advocacy services to support students and families in securing fair access to resources, accommodations, and educational opportunities within the school system.

At Resolve WNY, we believe every student deserves equitable access to education, personalized support, and the resources necessary to thrive. Our educational advocacy services help families navigate the often overwhelming school system while ensuring students receive the accommodations, academic support, and services they are entitled to under state and federal law.

We provide comprehensive guidance for parents and guardians, including IEP advocacy, 504 plan support, and special education consulting. Whether your child has ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), a learning disability such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia, or struggles with executive functioning, we offer advocacy that protects their rights and empowers families.

In addition to advocacy, we support families with tutoring services, academic coaching, and personalized learning plans. Our subject-specific tutoring includes math, science, reading, writing, social studies and ELA tutoring, as well as study skills coaching, test prep tutoring (including SAT, ACT, and NYS Regents prep), and ongoing homework help. Services can be delivered in-person or through online tutoring and virtual learning support across Western New York.

For families seeking alternative education, we offer homeschool support including curriculum planning, NYS homeschool compliance, portfolio guidance, and hybrid learning options. Our team helps parents create individualized education plans tailored to each child’s needs — especially for neurodiverse learners or children requiring sensory-friendly and strengths-based approaches.

We also assist with education consulting, school placement assistance, parent-school communication coaching, educational documentation services, and compliance guidance.

Our mission is rooted in compassionate academic guidance, inclusive education services, and empowering families in education. By combining professional expertise with lived experience, Resolve WNY provides a one stop shop for students of all abilities.
