Starting a business involves more than having a great idea. There are forms, records, registrations and administrative tasks that can quickly become overwhelming—especially for a first-time business owner.
Resolve WNY provides practical, client-directed administrative support to help entrepreneurs organize the paperwork involved in establishing and maintaining their businesses.
Business Formation Support
Once you have determined the type of business you intend to establish, Resolve WNY can assist with administrative tasks such as:
• Transcribing client-provided information onto appropriate business filing forms
• Organizing information needed for formation filings
• Administrative assistance submitting client-directed business filings
• Creating formation-document checklists
• Organizing completed formation documents and business records
• Assisting with appropriate administrative registrations and applications
• Helping establish an organized business-record system
• Tracking administrative tasks and client-provided deadlines
• Coordinating documents with accountants, attorneys and other professional advisors
LLCs, Corporations & Other Business Structures
Resolve WNY can provide administrative filing assistance after the client has determined the business structure they wish to establish.
Choosing between an LLC, corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship or another structure can involve legal and tax considerations. Resolve WNY does not select a business structure for clients or advise which structure provides the best legal, liability or tax treatment.
When that decision has not already been made, we may recommend discussing the options with an attorney, accountant or other appropriately qualified professional before proceeding with formation paperwork.
Designated Agent & Service of Process Support
Where appropriate and agreed to in advance, Resolve WNY may be designated to receive service of process or other authorized business communications on behalf of a business.
The scope, availability and responsibilities associated with this service will be explained before Resolve WNY accepts the designation.
Beyond Business Formation
Our administrative support does not necessarily end once the business is created.
Depending on your needs, Resolve WNY may also assist with:
• Business document and record organization
• Administrative forms and filings
• Business correspondence organization
• Document-management systems
• Tracking recurring administrative requirements provided by the client or professional advisor
• Preparing organized information for meetings with accountants, attorneys, insurance professionals and other advisors
• General small-business administrative support
This can be especially helpful for solo business owners and small organizations that do not have dedicated administrative staff.
Working With Your Professional Team
Resolve WNY can work alongside your attorney, accountant, tax professional, insurance professional or other business advisor.
We can handle appropriate administrative and organizational work while licensed professionals remain responsible for legal, tax, accounting and other regulated professional advice.
