Paperwork can become overwhelming quickly—especially when you're already dealing with a family transition, administrative process, court matter, benefits issue or other stressful situation.

Resolve WNY provides practical document and administrative support for people who know what they need to accomplish but need help getting the information, paperwork and supporting records organized.

How We Can Help

Depending on the type of matter and our available scope, services may include:

• Transcribing client-provided information onto publicly available forms
• Typing and formatting client-directed correspondence and statements
• Organizing applications and supporting documentation
• Creating document checklists
• Organizing records, communications and supporting materials
• Creating timelines and chronological summaries from information you provide
• Organizing screenshots, emails, photographs and other records
• Creating indexes and organized exhibit packets
• Helping identify missing administrative information or documents
• Preparing organized materials for meetings with attorneys or other professionals
• Administrative filing and submission support when appropriate
• Document retrieval and records organization
• Creating organized binders or electronic document packets
• Helping clients maintain copies and records of completed paperwork

Applications & Administrative Paperwork

Resolve WNY may assist with a variety of client-directed administrative processes, including appropriate applications, agency forms, benefit-related paperwork, accommodation requests and other document-heavy processes that fall within our nonlegal scope.

If we determine that a particular application requires legal, clinical, financial or another type of licensed professional judgment, we'll let you know that a different provider may be appropriate.

Letters, Statements & Correspondence

Sometimes you know what you need to communicate but have difficulty organizing the information clearly.

Resolve WNY can provide transcription, formatting and organizational assistance using the facts, decisions and information you provide. We can help structure your information so it is easier to read and understand while keeping the substance client-directed.

Evidence & Record Organization

Large volumes of records can make it difficult to see the chronology of what happened.

We can help organize:

• Emails and text messages
• Screenshots and photographs
• Financial and payment records
• School and medical communications
• Incident records
• Correspondence
• Forms and applications
• Supporting documentation
• Other client-provided records

These materials can also be organized for more efficient review by an attorney, mediator, advocate, therapist or other professional.

Preparing to Work With a Professional

You may already have—or ultimately need—an attorney, accountant, therapist, financial professional or other specialist.

Resolve WNY can help you arrive at those appointments with organized documents, a clearer chronology and identified questions so that the professional can focus on the work that requires their particular expertise.

Not Sure Which Document Service You Need?

You don't need to know the name of the service or form before contacting us.

Tell us what you're trying to accomplish, and we'll help determine whether the request fits within Resolve WNY's administrative/document-support services or whether another Resolve service or outside professional may be more appropriate.

Important to Know

Resolve WNY provides nonlegal, client-directed clerical, organizational and administrative document support. We do not select legal claims, defenses or remedies; determine what a client should file; interpret statutes, regulations, court orders or legal documents; advise clients regarding legal rights or strategy; independently determine the substantive content of legal documents; or represent clients before a court or agency.

When assistance requires legal interpretation, legal strategy or advice about rights and remedies, clients should consult a licensed attorney.
